Clean 9 Cleanse: Day Three

Clean 9 Cleanse: Day Three

Today was a day of significance in the Clean 9 cleanse program for two reasons: first of all, 600 calories worth of good, old fashioned food were thrown into the mix.  YEE-FREAKIN-HAH is all I have to say on that one. Actually, thats's not all I have to say (never is really), for it is at this juncture that I wish to make a declaration with the utmost sincerity:

I am grateful for food.

I am grateful that we live in a country where food is not only readily available but available in abundance. I know I only went without for two days but it truly does give you a different perspective and makes you realise just how darn lucky you are. My aim once I have completed the cleanse is not only to continue eating clean but also to not take for granted that which sustains me from day to day.

So below is the program for Day Three and this will continue to be the program until the conclusion of the Clean 9 program. NOTE: I do mention this in my video (it's a short one today, less than 3 mins) but I split the 600 calories between lunch and dinner which is perfectly acceptable and suits me better on a day when I'm teaching Zumba in the evening.

Alrighty, and the moment you (and I!!) have been waiting for.

Have two days of cleansing made any difference to my weight and measurements whatsoever?

See for yourself.

In case you can't remember (and why would you??) what I was before allow me to summarise:

In total, since starting the Clean 9 Cleanse two days ago I have lost

4 pounds and 3.5 inches!

Not a bad start to the proceedings if I do say so myself and I'm particularly thrilled about the inch off waist and mammaries. The only body part not to witness any change is my arms and given that I lift weights and there isn't much fat on them in the first place I'm not surprised.

I was always determined to see the program through to the bitter (aloe vera gel) end and these results have only served to strengthen my resolve gosh darn it!

To get Day Three in greater depth and to check out what healthy yumminess I ate for lunch and dinner then click on the video below. Thanks for joining me on this cleansing journey! I know you're all willing me on, Warriors, and I'm grateful.

A several-pounds-lighter-and-thoroughly-delighted Ginger Warrior, over and out.

  2. Well done Ceri! Brilliant work! I love the video especially when your little whippet friends pops her head out to see what you’re doing & you feel the need to explain she doesn’t need a detox! lol brilliant! Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next instalment. x

  3. Well done. Keep it up. I am rooting for you. Xxxx

Hi Maria, it costs £119. If you’d like a contact number for the person who distributes the products then send me an email. The email contact form is at the bottom of the page. :)

  5. Well done Ceri – what a good loss. I did a 25day detox (in Feb) followed by three months on 5:2 with more excercise and have lost 2 and a half stone and quite a lot of inches – so am now in a size 12 !!! I loved your pain/gain mantra; I too have a new mantra to help stop me going back to my bad snacky ways – “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” (which I think I stole from Kate Moss).
