I’m going to BritMums Live 2015, baby!

I’m going to BritMums Live 2015, baby!

Am I looking forward to attending BritMums Live for the second time? Aren’t most red heads covered in freckles??? Maybe not all of them but this one is for sure and I am most definitely looking forward to and highly anticipating the weekend of June 19th! This year not only will I be wielding my camera in all directions in an attempt to capture the best bits of BritMums Live 2015 but I will also be taking on the role of butterfly which, I believe, is a role to help newbies and returning attendees feel at home during the blogivities which is just like festivities but at a blogging conference. And I make a solemn promise unto you, fellow bloggers and bloggettes that I will endeavour to be the best darn butterfly I can be! Share the...
The best meal EVER!

The best meal EVER!

Now, Warriors, I don’t claim to be a connoisseur of all that is culinary and gastronomical but I have been to some pretty nice eating establishments in my time and can recognise and appreciate fine dining. For our anniversary a couple of years ago, for example, Craigy Boy and I found ourselves on the 28th floor of the London Park Lane Hilton, home to the Michelin-starred restaurant Galvin at Windows. It boasts stunning views of some of our capital’s most iconic buildings and, funnily enough, the food wasn’t too shabby either. Share the...
OUR blog is up for an award!!

OUR blog is up for an award!!

Well would you Adam and Eve it, Warriors?? Our little corner on the internet has been shortlisted for a blogging award, in the VIDEO category no less. Which is fabulous, really, since making videos and acting the goat is what I love to do most. I mean, you know how shy and retiring I am… MWAHAHA!! Anyhoo, I would surely love us, and I say us because we’re all in this together, me and my World Wide Warriors, to be one of the FIVE finalists and I’m counting on you lovely folks to help get us there! Question: Do you have 30 seconds right now? Because that is literally how long it will take you. Forget David, bypass Ed, blatantly ignore Nige and go straight for the GW! Share the...
A lovely family wedding

A lovely family wedding

Before I get on with today’s blog post in which I regale you all with tales of a delightful family wedding Craigy Boy and I attended this weekend I must tell you, Warriors, that I have been suffering. It’s a little known condition which strikes suddenly and violently and the individual afflicted can do little but allow the virus to take its course. I, The Ginger Warrior, have been in the grips of LAZY BLOGGERITIS which explains why it has been so long since I put electronic pen to paper. But I am happy to report that  I appear to have turned a corner and my mental faculties, zeal and general va va voom are returning to the fore once again!  Share the...
I’m selling my house ONLINE with Emoov!

I’m selling my house ONLINE with Emoov!

On December 17th, 2007 (or thereabouts) I became the proud owner of my very first home. It was a beautiful moment, I tell ya, and Top Foor Flat, 23 Balmoral Road in Northampton has has kept me safe, warm, dry and very happy over the years – the perfect first time buy. To tell you the truth, it was a little bit out of my budget at the time – I had decided that £130,000 was as high as I could go and consequently was only viewing properties in that price bracket. Then Kate, the lovely estate agent from Right Move who was patiently taking me from one flat viewing to the next, said that she knew of a property that had just come up for sale and she urged me to book an appointment to see it, even though it was slightly over my pre-determined budget. “I just have a feeling”, she insisted. Restaurant Review: Bill’s

Restaurant Review: Bill’s

As you know, Warriors, Mummy and Daddy Ginger Warrior came to visit me a couple of weeks ago. And as you know, since you have doubtlessly read THIS little blog post recounting the few lovely days I was in their company, Sandra and I spent a delightful morning meandering through the charming streets of Oxford. When it came to sourcing an excellent eatery for our ladies lunch my mum slipped down a side street and before I had even realised she had gone (she’s pretty stealthy that one) she was back enthusiastically insisting she had found the perfect establishment.  Share the...
